Our prices are based on services performed within zip codes 48306-48309 or within 10 miles driving of our facility (see map). Outside of that area, we may have to add a small surcharge.
In very rare instances a vehicle will present an extra-difficult detailing challenge. Things that may require extra attention include excess tar or scuffs on the exterior or major stains in the interior, etc. We will talk or meet with you, discuss your own individual needs, and agree on the additional work required and price before we start.
We offer a 10% discount if you bring your vehicle to us and also a 10% discount if you schedule multiple vehicles for the same appointment.
Ultimate Detail Package – NEW for 2011!
This consists of all the services included in the Premium Detail Package and the Vehicle Protection Package, plus Engine Detail and Ozone Odor Neutralization. This package amounts to a $100-200 savings over the packages priced individually.

Complete Interior Detail
Interior is first blown out and vacuumed to loosen & remove dirt and dust particles from floor boards, seat pleats, rear shelf and all cracks and crevices. Cloth seats and upholstery are vacuumed. All vinyl components & trim are cleaned and appropriate dressing applied. All leather surfaces are cleaned with special cleaner and leather conditioner applied. Close attention is given to instrument panel, consoles, door panels, and pockets. Carpets & upholstery are shampooed and extracted as needed. Floor mats are washed and extracted. All windows, mirrors and gauge lenses are cleaned. Most of the interior will be gone over at least three times during this service procedure.

Complete Exterior Detail
We start with the Full Service hand wash, including cleaning of wheels, wheel wells, tires, tar, bug and road grime removal. Vehicle is then “clay-barred” to remove environmental fallout. Exterior rubber trim, convertible top, truck bed cover and tires are dressed to look like new. The entire exterior is then polished. If there are a few light scratches or scuffs, they will receive special attention. Finally, your car, truck, van or SUV will receive a coat of Premium Wax (excluding inside of truck bed). Polish and wax are applied by random-orbital polisher to minimize swirl marks. Most of the vehicle exterior will gone over at least four times during this procedure.

Premium Detail Package
This consists of all the services included in the Complete Interior and Complete Exterior Detail packages. This package amounts to a $59 savings over the packages priced individually.

Detail Lite Package
This is intended for vehicles that are new or have recently had the Premium Detail service performed. This combines the Complete Wash with the Wash & Wax services (described below).

Lease Return Package
This starts with a Complete Wash (described below). Then special attention is made to address interior stains, including extraction of floormats, and extraction or steam cleaning of carpets and upholstery as required. Finally exterior scuffs and scratches are polished.

Vehicle Protection Package
Exterior is treated with polymeric paint sealant. Interior cloth and carpeted surfaces are treated with a protectant designed to provide a high degree of liquid repellence while allowing the fabric to breathe. Compare this to similar systems sold by car dealerships for hundreds (sometime thousands) of dollars more. This package is recommended for new vehicles or vehicles that have been thoroughly detailed.

Exterior Wash
Entire vehicle is lovingly hand washed, rinsed with deionized water and dried, including tires, wheels and doorjambs. Areas that typically trap water are blown out with high pressure air. No waiting in line at the car wash and no “racing stripes” from the automatic car wash brushes.

Complete Wash
Along with the Exterior Wash, the Interior is vacuumed, the dash & steering column are wet dusted and the windows and mirrors are cleaned.

Exterior Wash plus cleaner/wax applied by orbital polisher.

Paint Chip Repair
Paint scratches and chips are touched up using a small brush or paint stick. Depending on damage, costs will vary.
Typically $50 – $120 (Please note, we will need the paint code at least 2 business days prior to the scheduled appointment.)
Engine Detailing
Engine compartment is cleaned with special silicone-free degreasers to break-down caked-on grease and grime that has deposited on engine, firewall, and other underhood components. Prominent surfaces are then wiped with low sheen dressing.

Odor Neutralization
An ozone generator is employed to attack and kill the organisms that produce odors in your vehicle’s interior, not just mask them. Treatments can take 2-6 hours. This is in addition to the Complete Interior Detail or the Premium Detail Package.

The cost of the gift certificate is the same as for the service provided and includes mailing to you or your chosen recipient, along with a message. A Detail Excellence Gift Certificate is a perfect gift for that special hard-to-shop-for person:

Customer Referral Program
Our Customer Referral Program offers you the opportunity to save up to 50% off the price of our services. For anyone you refer to Detail Excellence who purchases our service(s), you will receive points equal to 5% of the net price (in dollars) of that purchase. These points can be redeemed for dollars off any services you would purchase from us (up to 50% of the price).
For example, if you refer three friends who end up buying $600 in detailing services, you would receive 30 points (5% of 600). You could then redeem those points for up to $30 off any of our detailing services, not to exceed 50% of the price of the service.

Please remember that Michigan sometimes has severe weather. This may occasionally require us to reschedule or preclude certain services all together. In some instances the use of a heated garage may be required.
